A Family Eurythmy Night

On Tuesday, March 16, we were fortunate to have a visit from Mary Ruud, Eurythmist.  You may ask what is eurythmy ( say you-rithe-me)?  It is artistically guided movement to music and speech.  It is only seen in Waldorf schools and is quite beautiful.  On our special night at Byck, we had a pianist who played pieces from Mozart, and Bizet's Carmen.  Mary Ruud guided the circle of children, parents, and even Ms. Darden, our principal, to move.  There was lots of smiles and we all learned a lot!
