September
10 – STORY APRONS and STORYTELLING with
Ida Palmer-Ball and friends. Ida
will show us how to make an apron for storytelling. This apron will have a dyed silk ‘skirt’ and a needle-felted
top. While participants are
working, they will hear fairy tales, legends, and historically-based
fiction. This workshop will take
place at the Waldorf School of
Louisville and is free of charge. 9-12.
October
29 - FOLK DANCING with
Chet Celenza (Prairie Hill Waldorf School, WI). Join us at the Foxhollow
Farm Center for an upbeat,
joy-filled morning of singing and dancing. 9-12, free of charge.
November
9 – Join seasoned Cadre members as they present a workshop to interested JCPS
colleagues entitled “An Introduction to
Waldorf Education”. This
workshop is free and open to the public.
4-7 pm. Place TBA.
January
7 – INTENTION BOOK WORKSHOP – Join Mary Goral in this creative process. Set your intentions for 2012, make a book or poster to help
visualize your goals and revel in the company of good friends! 9-12, Foxhollow Farm Center.
$10.00 charge.
Feb17
and 18 – BIOGRAPHY WORKSHOP with Jean Yeager, former head of the
Anthroposopohical Society and board chair of Rudolf Steiner College. . According to Rudolf Steiner, we go
through phases in our lives roughly made up of 7 years. Each 7 year cycle provides
opportunities for growth and change.
Discover your own biography through journaling and specially led
techniques by the trained facilitator.
This workshop is open to the public. The workshop begins Friday evening at 5 pm and ends at 9
pm. Saturday’s class goes from 8:30-7 and Sunday from 8:30- noon. Food will be provided by Farm to Fork. For detailed information.
March
17 – Waldorf-inspired Cadre Showcase. Come and see all of the creative things
members of the cadre are doing with their students. This workshop will be held at Foxhollow Farm and is free and
open to the public. 9-12.
Mary
19 and 20 – Cadre Retreat. Join us at Parker’s Landing, a
beautiful country home in Bardstown, Ky.
Spend the day or pack a bag and spend the night. This is a chance to unwind and soak up
some country air and Cadre friendship.
10 am Sat. to 12 noon Sunday.
